The short answer
There is no useful universal price for “a solar system”. Your appliance loads, storage requirements, equipment choice and property conditions determine the scope. GetValue has not published verified package prices on this website.
What belongs in a complete quote?
Ask for a component schedule with model numbers, quantities and ratings. It should distinguish solar-array kWp, inverter kW or kVA, and nominal and usable battery kWh. Mounting, cabling, protection, installation labour, transport and any applicable taxes should be clearly included or excluded.
Why two similar-looking systems can cost differently
A larger usable battery, different inverter surge capability, a difficult roof, longer cable runs or more extensive electrical protection can change the price. A comparison based only on inverter kVA can miss these differences.
Questions worth asking
Is the price current and how long is it valid? Is this supply-only or installed? What must change after the site assessment? Are warranty terms different for the battery, inverter, panels and workmanship? How are repairs and claims handled?
Look beyond the purchase price
Consider maintenance, potential component replacement, residual grid or generator use and financing costs if applicable. A solar system is not automatically a one-time lifetime expense.
Your next step
Prepare an appliance list and desired backup hours, then request an itemised proposal. Do not treat prices from other websites as a GetValue offer.
Continue planning
Estimate your appliance energy use, explore the system components, or prepare an enquiry.
